Aislinn Vaughan (President)

Aislinn founded Spirit Fire Farm on May 7, 2009, after recognizing the need for such a program in the community. Personal experience with the issues that Spirit aims to combat have been her driving force in the development of the program. She has more than 13 years of experience working with animals and over 12 years of experience riding and training horses. She specializes in the rehabilitation of horses labeled “problem animals”. She whole-heartedly believes that only through non-violent means of communication can living beings join together and heal. Aislinn owns 2 rescued and rehabilitated animals. Jubie, her welsh/tb pony mare, just recently returned to her after 5 years. Jubie, now 15 years old, plays a very important role in Spirit Fire Farm’s animal rehabilitation programs. Megan McCormick (Secretary)

With 4 years of professional experience in the field of canine care and rehabilitation, Megan is the proud owner of a rescued/rehabilitated coonhound named Bella, and a rescued/rehabilitated kitten, Eugene. She is employed as a caretaker by Main Line Animal Rescue. As an experienced artist versed in a variety of mediums, she is also employed by Young Rembrandts as a drawing teacher for elementary school students. Megan has a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Spanish language. With a passion for ecology and gardening, she is also certified in Permaculture Design. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bicycle, spend time outdoors, meditate and create figurative sculpture. She may be contacted at: mmccormick@spiritfirefarm.org

Coletta Robinson (Treasurer)

Coletta is the President and Owner of Benefit Strategies, Inc. an employee benefit consulting agency serving employers throughout the Delaware, Lehigh and Lancaster County region. Benefit Strategies, Inc. is a Member Company – 2008 Philadelphia 100 Business Award Fastest Growing Business, and a Member Company 2009 Philadelphia 25 Employee Benefit Firms. She has served on the AETNA Broker Advisory Board for the last 5 years. She was chosen by AETNA to spearhead the Women-Owned Business initiative. She is a member of the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants (NAABC). She is a lifetime resident of Chester County and is the married mother of a 23-year old son. Diane Thomson (Member)

Diane serves as the Program Development and Support Coordinator in the Educational Research, Development and Technology Division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Diane has over 17 years experience in leading project development for K-12 schools. Diane lives in Spring City, PA with her husband and daughter.

Susannah Horner (Member)

Susannah is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), currently working at Silver Springs – Martin Luther School, and is an alumni of both Penn State University(BS in psychology) and the University of Pennsylvania (MSW). Martin Luther School is a K-8 Approved Private School serving children and adolescents who have not been successful in traditional school settings due to their complex emotional and behavioral needs. Susannah also has a life-long love for horses and was a member of the United States Pony Club and the Penn State Equestrian Team. She believes the unique bond that exists between animals and humans can lead to amazing things. Susannah lives in Phoenixville, PA with her husband, daughter, son and rescued dog, Marshall. Eddy Foster (Fundraising Committee Chair)

Eddy Foster is a 2006 graduate of Unionville High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in political science. His expertise is in fundraising and communications, and he is a veteran of over a dozen campaigns for local, state, and federal office. He hopes to bring fundraising insight to Spirit Fire Farm, and to help the organization reach the next level.

Kelly Krawczynski (Fundraising Committee Co-Chair)

Kelly graduated from West Chester University in 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology.  She is currently going for her Masters in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy at La Salle University.  Kelly has always had a love for animals and strongly believes in the bond between people and their pets.  She has experienced this bond first hand by working with Canine Assistants.  Throughout her life she has always had a special connection with her pets and currently has two rescued animals – a dog named Patches and a cat named Mickey. She can be reached at: kellyk@spiritfirefarm.org

Brian Stanton (Fundraising Committee Secretary)

Brian is a student at West Chester University of Pennsylvania and is studying to receive a B.A. in History. He became interested in the mission of Spirit Fire Farm because he understands the challenges that today’s youth are faced with and wishes to help them navigate through them. Brian has also loved animals throughout his life and has called several different animals a member of his family, including dogs, cats, hamsters and parrots. He currently has a rescued cat, Mickey, and a rescued dog, Patches, whom he loves very much.
